HorseCenter - Risen Star Preview and Gun Runner Shines [VIDEO]

The HorseCenter hosts are ready to discuss another weekend of great performances that came from Gun Runner and One Liner at Oaklawn Park. In the Razorback Handicap Gun Runner made his 2017 debut with a speedy and powerful performance. One Liner emerged as the latest serious 2017 Kentucky Derby contender when he ran away from the competition in the Southwest Stakes.

The Fair Grounds in New Orleans is the site of this weekend’s big races when the three-year-olds boys and girls take the stage in the Risen Star and the Rachel Alexandra. Guest Suite looks to grab a second Derby Trail victory; while Valadorna, Shane’s Girlfriend, and Farrell are a very talented trio of fillies.

Brian and Matt also say a fond and heartfelt goodbye to the 1999 Horse of the Year Charismatic.
