HorseCenter: Preakness 2022 picks and wagers

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman analyze the field for the 2022 Preakness Stakes, which includes the second-place finisher from the Kentucky Derby in Epicenter and the Kentucky Oaks winner Secret Oath.

The Preakness field of nine includes five horses returning from races at Churchill Downs during Derby weekend and four new shooters. Matt and Brian discuss the merits of the entire field – this time they agree on their top pick, and it is not the favorite.

The guys give out their preferred wagers that involve the Preakness, including the two-day daily double with the Black-Eyed Susan along with exacta and trifecta wagers for the second leg of the Triple Crown.
