HorseCenter: Pegasus World Cup Day picks

Photo:

This week on HorseCenter, your co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman handicap the Pegasus World Cup, featuring the showdown between Breeders' Cup winners Knicks Go and Life Is Good, as well as providing picks for two rich turf races on the big card at Gulfstream Park on Saturday.

The $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf drew a field of 12 that includes last year’s winner Colonel Liam who will return from a June layoff for Todd Pletcher. The $500,000 Pegasus Filly and Mare Turf has a wide-open field of 11 in which both Matt and Brian have made longshot selections to win.

Enjoy a great weekend of racing and, as always, thanks for watching the show.
