HorseCenter: Top long shots for Kentucky Derby, Oaks

Photo:

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman delve deeper into their Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks analysis by revealing their top long shots for both fields. The guys also handicap Saturday's Grade 2 Californian at Santa Anita.

Matt and Brian have a list of long shots that are expected to be at least 15-1 when the horses go to the gate for the Oaks and the Derby. These long shots come with the higher odds that can produce big payouts in the exacta, trifecta, and superfecta.

Racing resumes at Santa Anita as the older males take to the main track in the Californian. Santa Anita Handicap winner Express Train heads this field of five.

Next week on HorseCenter, the guys will discuss the Derby and Oaks fields after Monday’s post-position draw and give out their favorite wagers. As always, thanks for watching the show.
