HorseCenter: Kentucky Derby 2023 top picks, long shots

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman offer their final preview of Kentucky Derby 2023, with draw analysis, top picks, top long shots and favorite wagers. The guys also reveal their top selections for the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks.

Matt and Brian have several Kentucky Derby graphics during the show that display their top three horses, their long shots and how they combine them with the hopes of taking advantage of the rare 20-horse field to produce a big payout in their favorite wager on Saturday.

In the Derby, both Brian and Matt like to play the 50-cent trifecta because you can use a lot of horses to combine long shots and shorter prices without making the tickets too expensive.
