HorseCenter: Kentucky Derby 2022 early look

Today on HorseCenter, your co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman take their first look at the 2022 Kentucky Derby trail with a very early top 12 for the Run for the Roses.

Their early list of Kentucky Derby contenders includes runners from the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, Grade 1 winners, horses that skipped the Breeders’ Cup, and some impressive maiden winners.

Matt and Brian talk about what’s next on the Derby trail for these current 2-year-olds with an eye on the first Future Wager for the 2022 Kentucky Derby which will be open from Nov. 25 to 28. The guys expect most of their 12 horses to be part of that betting opportunity.
