HorseCenter: Running down the 2019 Kentucky Derby Top 10

Photo: Eclipse Sportswire

This week on HorseCenter, hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman run down their respective Top 10 list of contenders for the 2019 Kentucky Derby trail -- plus discuss all the latest doings on the trail.

In the rearview are results from a pair of major preps in the Gotham Stakes (won by Haikal) and Tampa Bay Derby (taken by Tacitus). Where do those horses fit into the bigger picture, if at all?

And ahead, of course, are two runnings of the Rebel Stakes (G2) at Oaklawn Park. The prominent pair of Game Winner and Improbable will be tested by others garnering some current Top 10 recognition in their 3-year-old debuts.

And as always, thanks for watching the show!
