This week on HorseCenter, co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman preview Saturday's 14-race card at Gulfstream Park anchored by the Florida Derby (G1).

Also featured are the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) for 3-year-old fillies and the Pan American (G2) on the turf.

Tiz the Law was named the Florida Derby's 6-5 morning line favorite as he tries to lock up a spot in the Kentucky Derby on the first Saturday in September.

Tonalist’s Shape puts her perfect five-race record on the line in the Gulfstream Park Oaks, in which she will have to beat 11 challengers in that prep race for the Kentucky Oaks (G1).

Zulu Alpha, who is in the best form of his career as a 7-year-old, brings an unbeaten record for 2020 to the Pan American (G2) on the turf against a field of 10.

Also covered on HorseCenter: the 2020 debuts of Vekoma, who makes his first start since last year’s Kentucky Derby, and the 2018 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Newspaperofrecord.

Stay safe and healthy in these times, and thanks for watching the show.
