Today on
HorseCenter, your co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman handicap three graded stakes races on Thanksgiving weekend – the Clark and the Falls City at Churchill Downs and the Hollywood Turf Cup at Del Mar.

The Clark Stakes (G1) features a matchup between Midnight Bourbon and Maxfield. The 3-year-old Midnight Bourbon will be making his first start against older horses while Maxfield tries to keep his record perfect under the Twin Spires in what will be the last start of his career.

The Falls City features a wide-open field of fillies and mares that have the opportunity to get a Grade 2 stakes win without the presence of the likely division champion Letruska. In California, Chad Brown’s Rockemperor will face a field of veteran turf horses, including a few that ran in the Breeders’ Cup Turf at the beginning of the month.

Matt and Brian want to wish the HorseCenter fans a happy and healthy Thanksgiving and, as always, to say thank you for watching the show.
