HorseCenter: Breeders' Cup 2022 Recap + Flightline's career
{{monthName}} {{day}}, {{year}} {{hour12}}:{{minuteTwoDigit}}{{dayPeriod}}
This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman look back at the biggest stories from the 2022 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland and discuss the career and retirement of Flightline.
The guys review the running of the Breeders’ Cup Classic and the significance of Flightline’s victory along with the wins by Malathaat, Forte and Cody’s Wish.
The Europeans dominated the turf races, winning all of them except the Turf Sprint. Charlie Appleby won three more races this year with Modern Games and Rebel’s Romance leading the way in the Mile and the Turf, and Aidan O’Brien returned in force when he won three times.
Matt and Brian hope that HorseCenter helped you have a successful Breeders’ Cup, and, as always, want to thank you for watching the show.
