HorseCenter: Belmont Stakes 2022 top picks and plays

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman offer final selections and suggested wagers for the 2022 Belmont Stakes and other big races in a sensational weekend of racing at Belmont Park.

The Belmont Festival of Racing has three big days of action with 17 stakes, beginning Thursday. Nine of them are on Saturday, including eight Grade 1 races. Matt and Brian have plenty of suggested wagers that include two-day daily doubles, trifectas and exactas for the Belmont Stakes, and pick 3s.

Big-name horses on turf and dirt abound, such as Jackie’s Warrior in the True North (G2) and Rougir in the New York (G1) on Friday. Do not forget on Saturday that there is the matchup of champions Letruska and Malathaat in the Ogden Phipps (G1) and the return of the undefeated Flightline in the Met Mile (G1).
