HorseCenter: Belmont Stakes 2022 First Look + Met Mile

This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman recap the Preakness Stakes and take an early look at the Belmont Stakes and the Met Mile.

Matt and Brian discuss Early Voting's victory in the Preakness after trainer Chad Brown decided to skip the Kentucky Derby and point to the big race in Baltimore. The guys also talk about the second-place finish of the favorite Epicenter.

The field for the Belmont Stakes, which includes the Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike, is shaping up, and the guys take a look at the 10 horses who are most likely to try the 1 1/2-mile Test of the Champion on June 11 at Belmont Park. The Met Mile (G1) will be run the same day and should feature a matchup between Flightline and Speaker’s Corner.

Enjoy the Memorial Day weekend and, as always, thanks for watching the show.
