HorseCenter: Apple Blossom, Count Fleet analysis and picks

This week on HorseCenter, co-hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman analyze the fields and offer picks for Saturday's two main features, the Apple Blossom (G1) and the Count Fleet (G3) at Oaklawn Park.

The Apple Blossom drew a full field of 14 older female runners headed by Serengeti Empress, who is a recent wire-to-wire winner of Oaklawn's main prep for this race, the Azeri (G2).. However, the field is loaded with talented rivals like fellow Grade 1 winners Street Band and Ce Ce.

The Count Fleet is a battle between speedy front runners and veteran closers. Can Hidden Scroll or Bobby’s Wicked One withstand the hot pace and hold off the late runs from the likes of Whitmore and Flagstaff?

Good luck at Oaklawn and, as always, thanks for watching the show.
