HorseCenter: 20 horses worth your attention in 2023
{{monthName}} {{day}}, {{year}} {{hour12}}:{{minuteTwoDigit}}{{dayPeriod}}
This week on HorseCenter, Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman look ahead to the upcoming racing season by highlighting 20 horses to watch in 2023 in four groups – Breeders’ Cup winners, Breeders’ Cup losers, lightly raced horses, and older fillies and mares.
Cody’s Wish, the winner of the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile and the Vox Populi award, leads a group of horses who piled up graded-stakes victories heading into the end of this year. Nest is one of several horses who had great campaigns but came up short in the Breeders’ Cup. Loggins is the first in a group of lightly raced horses who flashed tremendous potential early in their careers. Echo Zulu is one of five fabulous fillies who are expected to return to the races nest year.
HorseCenter will be back in 2023 with the horses on these watch lists. And as always, the guys want to thank you for watching the show.
