This week on HorseCenter, Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman handicap and offer suggested wagers for the final leg of the Triple Crown. The Belmont Stakes racing festival, which is anchored by the Belmont Stakes, is being run at Saratoga as Belmont Park is under renovation.

The $2 million Belmont Stakes at Saratoga features the winners of the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, but Sierra Leone is the 9-5 morning-line favorite. The field of 10, which will race at the shorter distance of 10 furlongs, includes Mystik Dan and Seize the Grey.

Matt and Brian offer pace analysis and top picks for Friday’s Acorn (G1), which includes one of the country’s top 3-year-old fillies in Thorpedo Anna. In addition, the Met Mile (G1) features a matchup between White Abarrio and National Treasure, two of the top-ranked horses from the older male dirt division.

Enjoy the racing from Sararoga and thanks for watching the show.
