This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman look back at the impressive win in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy by Epicenter before jumping into handicapping the Whitney (G1) from Saratoga and the West Virginia Derby (G3).

The Whitney features top horses from the older male dirt division. Life Is Good is the winner of 7 of 9 career starts. Olympiad is unbeaten in 2022, with five victories. Hot Rod Charlie has more than $5.1 million in career earnings.

In the 3-year-old male division, the West Virginia Derby at Mountaineer Park is big race. Horses from the Kentucky Derby trail and the Triple Crown races, including Simplification, We the People and Skippylongstocking, are featured.

Matt and Brian hope that their picks and analysis will help you have a great weekend of racing and, as always, thank you for watching or listening to the show.
