HorseCenter: 2022 Breeders' Cup Classic preps analysis
{{monthName}} {{day}}, {{year}} {{hour12}}:{{minuteTwoDigit}}{{dayPeriod}}
This week on HorseCenter, your hosts Brian Zipse and Matt Shifman offer analysis and top picks for two Breeders' Cup Classic prep races, the Woodward featuring Life Is Good and the Lukas Classic from Churchill Downs.
Life Is Good will be an overwhelming favorite to get his ninth career victory in the Woodward as he gets his final prep race for the Breeders’ Cup. Last year, Life Is good won the Dirt Mile (G1) at the world championships at Del Mar. His performance in the Woodward could determine whether he enters the Classic or the Dirt Mile at Keeneland this year.
The Lukas Classic (G2) is a far more competitive race with a few horses choosing to race at Churchill Downs to avoid facing Life Is Good again. Hot Rod Charlie, Art Collector, Rich Strike, and Happy Saver all are serious win contenders.
Good luck this weekend and, as always, thanks for watching the show.
