Slade Power completed a superb week for Eddie Lynam, as the four year old powered to victory in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Connections had been on the scoresheet earlier in the week with Sole Power, with Lynam also training the winner of the Queen Mary Stakes, Anthem Alexander.
"It's without a doubt the best week of my training career, but it's a coincidence that I had the three best horses in the races," said winning trainer Eddie Lynam. "Trainers only get ten percent [of the winning prize] for a reason - it's only ten percent to do with us. I am very lucky to have very good horses, very good horses and a great family. It has been a great week."
Slade Power will head to the July Cup next, where he will face the second and third placed finishers Due Dilligence and Aljamaaheer as well as his stable mate Sole Power.
Wesley Ward entered both Crown The Kitten and Cordero into the final two year old race of Royal Ascot, the Chesham Stakes, but neither could make the places as John Gosden's Richard Pankhurst breezed by them all for an impressive victory.
Arab Spring grabbed another winner for the Across The Pond blog on the final day in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes, and he looks to be a Group horse prospect for Sir Michael Stoute.
Baccarat was the winner of the final cavalry charge of the week, the Wokingham Stakes, with Pique Sous taking the last race of Royal Ascot.
