Four Players Battle for $10,000 First Prize in October Head to Head

Sixty-four began the journey through the October $25,000 Head to Head Bracket, all chasing the $10,000 first place prize and champion's trophy. After sixty head to head battles, four players remain and are just two wins from victory. Check out who survived the weekend and made the October Final Four.

Taking spot number one is Craig Hom (Chestnut). Trailing Dominic Ashe (Ashecard) with two races to go, Craig landed on first-time starter Street Fancy, who won impressively at odds of eight to one. After finding the top of the leaderboard, Craig held Ashe off for one final race and he was

on to the final four.

DerbyWars $100,000 Game champion Jim T. (Taytay) rounds out the first final four match after a decisive victory over Bill Shurman (JasWas). Jim rolled out to a slim early lead and kept the pressure on, scoring in five of the last six races.

Without question the most incredible story line comes after Jason Wallis (Highlander) punched his ticket to the Final Four. Jason was drawing dead in his Sweet Sixteen match against Michael Marlaire (Jackson10), which somehow resulted in the first ever tie in the Head to Head Championship after they posted final scores of $4.40. Jason survived a four race playoff and finds himself in the Final Four after two decisive victories over the weekend, including one over Mike G. (Bet4thinknomore).

The final spot in the October Final Four was well-earned. An absolute slugfest took place in the Elite Eight match between Paul McClelland (Seasideoutcast) and Travis P. (Siphon3511). Paul gained the upper hand late and when he blocked Travis in the finale with eventual winner Royal Banker, he was moving on to the Final Four. Paul cashed in eight of twelve races as Travis cashed in seven of twelve, resulting in a final score of $121.40 - $113.00, a record shattering Elite Eight performance.
