Twenty-one year old Anthony Williams is the young gun in the July $25,000 Head to Head Championship. His calculated and tenacious play has landed him a spot in the Final Four. Anthony breezed through his first round matchup against Joe Petoskey (elusiveq) with a huge $87.00 score. The smooth sailing wouldn’t last for long as Robert Reidy (benz42086) had Anthony against the ropes in the Round of 32. Anthony would need some good fortune in the final contest race and he received it via Husband’s Folly and his pilot Flavien Prat. Anthony had just narrowly survived the second round, but proceeded to crush his competition in the second weekend of the Championship. He now has a great shot to reach the championship, but he’ll have to repel the challenge of Dan Flanigan (flannymn).
Anthony Williams made his start in racing in his freshman year of high school. His early experiences with racing took place at the local off track betting facility near his home, where he watched Pyro win the 2008 Risen Star at Fair Grounds. Anthony made summer trips to Arlington Park, where his love for the game grew even more. On the weekend of his twenty-first birthday, Williams celebrated his incredible accomplishment in reaching the final four. It is easy to see the bar is already incredibly high for Williams, and his future is extremely bright.
Anthony’s success on DerbyWars is attributed to his intelligent play and the vast number of things which he has learned on the site. He'll certainly be calling on all he has learned in this weekend's Final Four match.
...there are numerous terrific handicappers and contest players you can really learn a lot from. The amazing DerbyWars team is always improving their website and adding new games making this the best website to play and win on.”
