A Pair of Stakes Headline Arlington's Saturday Racing

In an attempt to do something completely different I completed a preview of this weekend's Arlington Matron and Arlington Classic in video format. Two very good stakes races kick off Memorial Day weekend at Arlington Park!  Check it out!

The first preview is of the Grade 3 Arlington Matron run at a distance of 9 furlongs on Arlington's all-weather track. A very good field of 7 take to the track in a race for fillies and mares three years old and upward.

Next up is the preview for the Arlington Classic. This race is run at 8 1/2 furlongs on the expansive Arlington turf course for three year old colts and geldings. This is also the first race of the Mid-America Triple (which trainer Mike Stidham has owned over the years.)

Well there you have it, the first video blogs in Chicago Dark Horse history. Check them out! Also let me know which format you prefer (the PP's or my shiny happy face!)

And stay tuned for more exclusive coverage of racing from Arlington!
