Bombs Away at Oaklawn Today!

Bombs away is back with two bankroll plays at Oaklawn Park today.  In the 4th the one horse All Chromed Out offers some outstanding value from the one hole.   After breaking from the 9 and 10 post in his last 2 races and being 5 wide in each he gets a cozier post and should be able to close while saving ground into a favorable pace scenario.  The 5 horse Dr. Bill figures to be his main opposition.  Dr. Bill made a nice move to get the lead in his last but needed the race after a lengthy layoff and faded to 2nd.  I will key the 1 with the other contenders in a wide open race and double key All Chromed Out in the 3rd and 4th slots with Dr. Bill #5 in the 1st 2nd slots.   The bomber plays are as follows.

$4 exacta wheel.  1/234589.  $24 play
$5 exacta wheel.  234589/1   $30 play
$1 tri wheel 234589/234589/1.   $30 play
.30 superfecta 234589/234589/234589/1. $36 play

$ 1 tri wheel 5/23489/1    $5 play
$ 1 tri wheel 23489/5/1 $5 play
.50 sup wheel 5/23489/23489/1.  $10 play
.50 sup wheel 23489/5/23489/1.  $10 play

Total plays $140

My second play comes in the 7th race at Oaklawn.  Argumental the 7 horse is listed at 10 to 1 ML.   In his first start since November he closed for a nice 2nd place finish.  The trainer shows confidence by doubling his tag to 30k and he figures to get an ideal set up with all the pace signed on for this race.  The 1 2 3 8 will all by for the lead and soften each other up giving a distinct advantage to the #7.  I will play the 7 to win place and exacta box the 7 and 8 who is the 9/5 ML favorite after a runner up effort last time.  Here are the bomber plays

$40 win $40 place #7 $80 play
$10 exacta box 7 8.   $20 play

Total plays $100

Good luck and Bombs Away!
