No. 2 Warrior’s Payoff (3-1) dominated a local special-weight sprint from start to finish on Aug. 21. He might hit the ground running under his new rider Pablo Morales, and his trainer Brandon Kulp is strong with his recent graduates trying winners for the first time.
No. 1 Rainbow’s Pride (3-1) finished behind Wednesday’s rival Puttheblameonme in his last two local sprints but was only a half-length behind that one on Aug. 2. He should save ground stalking the pace under his new pilot Jareth Loveberry.
No. 6 Puttheblameonme (5-2) rallied for the place in his last two local allowance sprints. The morning-line favorite should make an impact in the lane.
