Wednesday’s seventh race at Gulfstream Park is an optional-claiming event for Florida-bred fillies and mares dashing 5 1/2 furlongs on the all-weather track. The scheduled post time is 3:10 p.m. EST.

No. 2 Walks Like a Lady (8-1) stalked and scored in a turf sprint at Laurel Park on Nov. 2, and she rallied for the win in a local all-weather sprint on Nov. 25. She dueled and weakened last time. The pace of this race might heat up, and she figures to revert to patient tactics at playable odds.

No. 3 Bodacious Bren (5-1) wired the field in a local all-weather sprint on Dec. 15, and she pressed the pace and missed by a half-length on Jan. 14. The sharp early-pressing filly enjoys this abbreviated distance.

No. 1 Gitana (8-1) returns to all-weather ground in her third start after a layoff, and she figures to save ground behind the speed. The fairly reliable mare won a pair of local synthetic sprints last year.

No. 5 Prettykeen (15-1) should get pace to chase and might rally for a share. She rarely wins but can hit the board at a price.
