Wednesday's Best Bet: Uncaptured Ruby on the loose at Gulfstream West

Wednesday’s 7th race from Gulfstream Park West is an optional claiming event for Florida-bred fillies and mares dashing six furlongs on the main track (Post Time 3:38 p.m. ET).

#5 UNCAPTURED RUBY (5-1) exits back-to-back $12.5k claiming sprint wins as the favorite at Monmouth Park. She does some of his best work at this distance and broke her maiden in a dirt sprint in Florida earlier this year. A stalking trip is expected. 

#7 Shes All Woman (5-2) pressed from the outside post and prevailed by a length and a half as the chalk in a local $25k claimer Oct. 18. She projects a similar trip in this spot and might be able to make it two straight. 

#4 Sunset Empire (4-1) won two straight local claiming sprints and figures to attend the pace. 

#6 Dizzy (7-1) is 1-for-18 with eleven minor awards. She cuts back in distance in her first start in more than ten months and can rally for a share.
