No. 7 Running Bee (4-1) hooked a runaway winner in his long-ago turf route bow, and he added blinkers and returned with another place finish behind a sharp winner July 2. The show finisher from his last returned to graduate in his next start, and Chad Brown’s colt might move up in his second start after a long layoff.
No. 4 Evan Harlan (9-2) hit the board in all four turf starts and was the beaten favorite in his last three. He adds blinkers and should be forwardly placed in a race lacking front-end speed, and Wednesday’s pilot Luis Saez guided him to a nose defeat May 21.
No. 8 Most Wanted Man (7-2) rallied to complete the trifecta in both turf routes. Chad Brown’s gelding gets the services of Irad Ortiz Jr. and should be heard from late.
No. 9 Cloud Forest (4-1) landed the place in his dirt route bow and regressed second time out. His turf pedigree is OK, and he rates a look if he runs back to his debut. Flavien Prat hops aboard for Bill Mott.
No. 5 Clubbing (8-1) is lightly raced with upside for Shug McGaughey. His dam has produced a turf winner, and he might improve in his second turf route.
