#2 OUR COUNTRY (7-2) showed marked improvement in his course/distance maiden win second time out. In that Aug. 3 affair, he stalked slow fractions and rolled to a sharp 5+ length victory as the favorite (first time lasix). He figures to be stalking slow fractions again.

#5 Eagerly (7-2) went from last to 3rd place as the favorite from post 10 in a local maiden turf route July 27. Todd Pletcher is very good with second time starters, and a maiden can definitely win a juvenile stakes race at this time of the year.

#1 Tuggle (5-2) is bred to go this far on turf, and might be set to route after a pair of dirt sprints to begin his career. He looks like the one to catch from the rail.

#7 Andesite (8-1) tracked the pace and kicked way in his Indiana Grand turf debut, and clear place finisher Nano was a next-out winner. Sharp conditioner Brad Cox gives Javier Castellano a leg up, and he should be close to tepid fractions.

#8 Field Pass (9-2) is interesting if he improves again for Mike Maker. He finished nicely for the place in his turf sprint bow at Churchill June 21. In his second career start in a local turf route July 13, he stalked below par fractions and beat next-out winner Decorated Invader.

#3 Fly Fly Away (8-1) stretches out and might impact the pace. He graduated by a nose as the favorite in a local New York-bred turf sprint Aug. 9.
