No. 7 Marks Promise (7-2) finished out of the exacta for the first time in six local outings on Dec. 8. This slightly shorter trip helps, and the tactical gelding might bounce back at a hint of a price.

No. 4 Vivir Con Alegria (5-2) set the pace and was second best in a similar local affair at 7 1/2 furlongs on Dec. 8. He should be all over the pace in his third start after a layoff.

No. 9 Sammy Danseur Jr. (9-2) is not big on winning, but he sure likes hitting the board. I will key the consistent gelding underneath in the exotics.
