No. 4 Just Beat the Odds (3-1) is fresh and in good form. He caught Wednesday’s favorite Spikezone in a local extended sprint in the slop late last year. He projects a stalking trip under his winning rider Samy Camacho.
No. 1 Spikezone (9-5) wired the field in his last two local dirt sprints as the 1-2 favorite. He should be all over the pace from the inside post at low odds.
No. 5 Flipping Fish (10-1) is a consistent gelding with tactical speed. His best effort might land him a share of the purse at square odds.
No. 3 Saint Tapit (3-1) makes his first start in more than half a year for Todd Pletcher. He won his first two dirt sprints in 2022 and tailed off badly after that.
