#5 INGRASSIA (6-1) stalked slow fractions and finished fast to graduate by a nose at this distance on turf at Saratoga Aug. 19. Chad Brown’s promising filly might be able to outkick this crew if she moves forward at all.

#7 Aunt Pearl (3-1) showed sharp early foot and pulled well clear in her flat mile turf debut at Churchill Downs Sept. 1. The $360k purchase should make her presence felt throughout and Brad Cox shows a profit with his graded stakes starters, his second route runners, and with his recent grads trying winners for the first time.

#10 Spanish Loveaffair (7-2) stalked and scored in both flat mile stakes starts at Gulfstream Park including the Sharp Susan Stakes Aug. 29. Wide stalking trips can be tough to overcome in competitive stakes races on turf.

#1 Batyah (6-1) made up a double digit deficit in her winning flat mile turf bow at Belmont Park Sept. 19. Graham’s Motion’s $150k Keeneland sales graduate should enjoy the added distance of this race.
