#6 HIERARCHY (8-1) is a sharp late runner with competitive recent numbers. Corey Lanerie rides him well and he is capable of running past this group at square odds.

#9 Empire of War (8-1) exits back-to-back victories for Michael Maker. His winning rider Tyler Gaffalione stays put and he will probably stalk the pace.

#11 Big Score (4-1) got back on the beam in a stalk and pounce optional claiming turf route win at Del Mar. The tepid favorite has back class and can get involved late under Flavien Prat.

#5 English Bee (5-1) is 0-for-5 this year but has placed in a pair of graded turf routes, and the numbers he earned in those two races match up well with in this spot.

#8 Hembree (9-2) is a late running local winner, but he is 0-for-5 at this distance and he has not won in quite some time.

Wagers:

#6 to win
