#3 GOOCH GO BRAGH (4-1) rallied for the place from the inside post in his local turf route debut Aug. 7. Todd Pletcher has had plenty of success in this race, and this one should have more to offer and could easily earn his diploma in this juvenile turf stakes route.

#4 Portfolio Company (9-5) chased slow splits from 2nd, took over, and prevailed by less than a length as the favorite in his local turf route bow on good ground July 17. Chad Brown excels with his recent graduates trying winners for the first time.

#1 Limited Liability (7-5) rallied from the back of the pack and kicked well clear in his winning course/distance bow July 31. Shug McGaughey’s late runner clearly has some talent and could easily take this but there is no reason to take such a short price on the win end in a race with so many lightly raced runners.

#6 Coinage (6-1) is a New York-bred colt stretching out and switching surfaces. Mark Casse and company paid $450k for the son of Tapit and Medaglia d’Oro is the dam sire so two turns should be to his liking.

#5 Kavod (15-1) fired in two of his four dirt sprints including a runner-up finish in the Tremont Stakes. He removes blinkers and tries a turf route, and dam has produced three turf winners.

#2 Silipo (15-1) chased the pace from the outside post and pushed away in the lane in his local dirt sprint bow Aug. 15, and Bruce Brown claimed for $40k that day. He stretches out on turf and is probably the one to catch.

#7 Ready To March (30-1) wired the field in his dirt sprint debut at Finger Lakes. The bargain $5k Keeneland sales grad will probably attend the pace.
