#4 ZENUCCI (10-1) ran well in both starts at this distance and can make some noise if the pace heats up. He rallied to finish a couple of lengths behind Scarlettblackjack Feb. 13 and he was well clear of the show finisher that day. He earned a decent number in a state bred optional claiming victory at Louisiana Downs Sept. 7, and that was his second start after the Karl Broberg claim. He was no threat vs. open company at Remington Park last time, and the winner and show finisher from that Oct. 1 heat both returned to score. The fresh gelding owns competitive numbers and should offer value.

#10 Scarlettsblackjack (5-2) moves to the Tom Amoss barn and the 7-for-19 gelding should make his presence felt throughout. He has won here before and looks like a solid contender at low odds.

#9 Bistraya (5-1) is 2-for-4 with a 2nd at Delta Downs, and he is sharp, fresh, and tactical. He handles this distance and must be respected in his current form.

#2 Nippy Red (12-1) exits a runner-up finish in a state bred stakes route. He has had success at this distance and fired trifecta shots in five of nine local outings. He can spice up the exotics.
