Tuesday's Best Bet: Witty sparkles in Pennsylvania Nursery

Tuesday’s 9th race from Parx Racing is the $200,000 Pennsylvania Nursery for for PA-bred two-year-olds dashing seven furlongs on the main track (Post Time 3:50 p.m. EST).

No. 6 WITTY (6-1) rallied for the place in his Laurel Park debut Sept. 4, and earned an improved speed rating in a strong local maiden win over romping next-out winner No. 10 Allevare (9-2) Oct. 25. He should get pace to chase and might offer a hint of value under his winning rider Carol Cedeno. 

No. 5 Disco Ebo (9-5) easily wired the field in his last three dirt sprints including a state bred stakes score at Penn National Nov. 26. His sharp form and early speed must be respected. 

No. 1 Dance Code (6-1) is 2-for-2 at Parx and was soundly beaten in his other two graded sprints at Saratoga. He is versatile and will probably save ground chasing the pace.
