No. 5 The King Cheek (9-2) set the pace and weakened in a dirt sprint at Delaware Park Aug. 24. He captured three of four local outings and easily wired the field the last time he raced at this distance. He is stabled at Parx and is probably the one to catch.

No. 1 Styner (7-2) got loose in a dirt route at Monmouth Park Aug. 15. This is a speed-friendly distance, and he should be in the thick of things throughout from the inside post.

No. 3 Excursion (4-1) finished in the top three in five of his last six starts. He has struck four times at Parx and projects a decent stalking trip.

Wagers:

No. 5 to win

Exacta 1-5/1-3-5
