No. 1 Roadtriptonowhere (4-1) stumbled at the start from the outside post and split the field after making an early move on Dec. 13. He has a good overall record at this course and distance, and he needs an alert beginning from the inside post.

No. 9 Windsor Gold (6-1) was part of the exacta in his last three starts, and he earned decent speed ratings in all of those races. He should be forwardly placed from the outside post.

No. 3 Malibu Star (7-2) stalked from an outer post, got to the front and just held the place in a similar local route on Jan. 1. He frequently runs his race in local route races and might move up in his second start after a layoff.

No. 5 Time to Cruise (3-1) is a consistent, versatile colt, and he projects a decent stalking trip in his third start after a layoff. He fired trifecta shots in all seven local outings.
