Tuesday’s 9th race from Parx Racing is the $100,000 Power by Far Stakes for Pennsylvania-bred fillies and mares dashing five furlongs on the turf course (Post Time 4:31 p.m. ET).
#10 PRECIOUS (9-2) rolled to sharp victories from off the pace in her last two local dirt sprints. The improving daughter of Fed Biz would not mind if the forecasted rains force this race to be moved to the main track.
#8 Caravel (5-2) is clearly the one to beat if this race remains on the turf course. The versatile filly captured all three turf attempts at five panels and is a three-time stakes winner. She cruised to easy victories in both state bred starts.
#12 Jakarta (7-2) handles any footing and Mike Maker’s fresh mare should make her presence felt throughout.
