No. 4 Kirstenbosch (5-2) is back on the main track, and John Sadler has strong stats with his dirt-to-turf starters. Her new pilot Ramon Vazquez knows how to handle an early runner and he shows a profit in route races. She wired the field in a flat-mile dirt race at Del Mar on Sept. 5.
No. 3 Hits Pricey Legacy (5-2) finished in the top three in all eight career starts. The versatile filly won her first two stakes starts this year, including the Remington Park Oaks at this distance in September. She was a distant show finisher as the beaten favorite last time, and she regressed that day after two big efforts. She figures to stalk the pace under her new rider David Cabrera.
No. 6 Bella Runner (9-5) is an improving Gun Runner filly for Steve Asmussen. She put it all together in her flat-mile maiden win in her fourth start, and landed the place in her last two entry-level allowance races. She probably will stalk the pace from the outside post under Florent Geroux.
#5 Corrina Corrina (10-1) is worth considering underneath. She fired trifecta shots in all 10 starts this year, including a nose defeat in a local stakes race on Oct. 30.
