#3 GUILLAUME (7-2) is a $50,000 Hard Spun first timer, and dam’s other four starters won. He fired a Fair Hill gate bullet back on June 16 and Mike Stidham can strike with a debut runner.

#5 Sky’s Not Falling (9-5) showed nice late interest in his winning debut at Delaware Park July 1, and the show finisher was a next-out winner. He is a logical contender if he duplicates his debut or improves at all.

#6 Alpha Queue (5-1) has a steady string of Laurel Park workouts, and Lacey Gaudet shows a profit with her first time starters. The son of Alpha could easily hit the ground running.

#8 Merchant of Hope (6-1) was sharp throughout as the favorite in her winning 4.5 furlong debut at Charles Town July 11.She might be the one to catch for quality trainer Phil Schoenthal.
