No. 5 CHANGE OF CONTROL (2-1) ran great in her first start after a two month layoff Jan. 29. She chased Elle Z from 2nd, led, and was beaten a nose. She should be fitter second after a layoff and will probably let her stablemate #2 Sail On Ellen (12-1) press the aforementioned chalk. The latter is a sharp, fresh mare with seven trifecta finishes from as many starts at this distance on turf.

No. 4 Elle Z (9-5) owns dangerous early speed and enters in fine form. She has not had a break since last fall and might be vulnerable late after a grueling nose victory as the even money favorite.

No. 7 More Than Unusual (8-1) might be able to rally for a share if the pace heats up. She graduated in a longer turf sprint at Kentucky Downs in 2020 and competed in turf routes in all of her subsequent starts. She blew out a three panel bullet for this Feb. 21.
