No. 1 TOM’S REGRET (9-2) was sharp early and widened throughout in her Santa Anita debut April 15. She earned strong pace ratings last time and might be too quick for this group. Jorge Periban trainee Phantom Boss shipped from Santa Anita to Churchill and captured the Bashford Manor (G3) in 2019, and it looks like he has another fleet juvenile in his barn.
No. 3 King Adrock (6-1) pressed from the outside post and pulled clear in his winning Keeneland debut for Prat/Mendez April 8. He will probably press the rail runner in this spot.
No. 9 Simply Super (7-2) dueled and edged away in his Keeneland debut April 20. He earned a decent speed rating that day and should make his presence felt throughout.
No. 8 Rivet (6-1) rallied for the place after a slow start in his Keeneland bow April 13. Steve Asmussen has decent stats with second timers and Joel Rosario stays put, and he could easily show more this time.
