No. 5 Souper Cohiba (7-2) turns back in distance and returns to preferred all-weather footing in his third start after a layoff. The late runner is 2-for-2 at this distance and reconnects with his winning rider Rafael Hernandez.

No. 1 Dr. Shane (2-1) ships from Florida in his second start after the claim. He won an all-weather route over the winter and shortens up for a productive jockey-trainer team.

No. 2 Hallie’s Hero (3-1) puts blinkers back on in his first start after the claim. He hit the board in his last two local sprints and figures to stalk the pace.

No. 3 Dynamite Karma (6-1) hit the board in his last two local sprints and can get a piece of this if he maintains form.

Wagers:

No. 5 to win
