Thursday’s 7th race from Churchill Downs is an optional claiming event for two-year-old fillies which have never won two races. They will be dashing six furlongs on the main track (Post Time 7:54 p.m. ET).

#3 SOL DORADO (5-1) stalked the pace and ran well in her first two all-weather sprints at Woodbine earlier this year, and was a flat 4th in a one mile turf race last time. She should sit a nice trip behind the speed and figures to pounce in the lane if she handles dirt. Tyler Gaffalione knows the California Chrome filly now and dam Folly Fashion won multiple dirt races in Pennsylvania.

#6 Queen’s Up (6-1) fired in both all-weather sprints at Arlington Park including a clear runner-up finish in a stakes affair Aug. 28.  She should get pace to chase.

#11 Crimson Rose (5-2) earned quality pace ratings in her winning dirt sprint debut as the even money chalk at Ellis Park Aug. 29. She drew outside the other speed and should make her presence felt throughout, and Brad Cox shows a profit with his recent grads trying winners for the first time.

#5 California Angel (5-1) rallied for the win in her flat mile turf debut at Kentucky Downs Sept. 8. She blew out a bullet for this Sept. 27, her winning rider Rafael Bejarano stays put, and her trainer shows a profit turf/dirt and route/sprint.
