Thursday’s eighth race at Belmont at Aqueduct is the $125,000 Glen Cove Stakes for 3-year-old fillies dashing six furlongs on the outer turf course. The scheduled post time is 4:22 p.m. EDT.

No. 8 Love Appeals (4-1) had her biggest success in her lone attempt at this course and distance. She did not have great trips in her last two stakes starts at slightly shorter distances. She can bounce back under her new pilot Irad Ortiz Jr.

No. 7 Personal Pursuit (6-1) loved the cut back in distance in a strong win at this trip at Woodbine last time. Javier Castellano hops aboard Mark Casse’s filly, and she will try to get involved late at a hint of a price.

No. 2 Danse Macabre (3-1) is always part of the trifecta. The consistent filly probably will stalk the pace and should be right there at the finish if she runs her normal race.

No. 5 Future is Now (8-1) won both turf sprints at lower class levels. She was all over the pace in those victories and might be the one to catch in this spot.
