No. 9 Insensitive (7-2) looked good graduating in a local route last last year and was clearly second best in a slow early-fast late race in the slop on Feb. 11. The improving filly might maintain sharp form in her third start after a layoff.

No. 3 American Band (5-2) was part of the exacta in all six local outings. The early-pressing mare won as the favorite in a local sprint in the mud on Jan. 12, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. She should attend the pace in this longer event.

No. 12 My Good Fortune (10-1) is a relatively consistent closer. Her new rider Rafael Bejarano wins races with Chris Hartman, and she is capable of spicing up the exotics.

No. 10 Xylophone (5-1) has been in fine form since last summer. The closing mare likes this distance and should make an impact in the lane.

No. 11 Flashy Lass (6-1) won back-to-back dirt routes on fast ground last year and stubbed her toe in her last two attempts in the slop. There is a chance of rain again at Oaklawn on Thursday.

No. 5 Paris Style (6-1) finished up the track in the slop on Jan. 27. She fired a half-mile bullet for this on Feb. 27 and might bounce back at her winning distance.
