Thursday’s 7th race from Aqueduct is an $82,000 entry level allowance event for fillies and mares dashing six furlongs on the main track (Post Time 4:24 p.m. ET).

#5 CUSTOMEREXPERIENCE (4-1) cut back a couple of furlongs and ended up a clear 3rd at Parx March 2. She has struck twice at Aqueduct and once at this distance, and she might get first run in her third start after a layoff.

#7 Dial Me Up (6-1) fired exacta shots in five of her six starts. Linda Rice claimed her late last year and she exits a sharp local starter allowance wire job in the mud. She steps up and might be this good.

#6 Risk Model (7-2) easily went all the way in her local sprint maiden breaker late last year. She moved to the Brad Cox barn and finished 2nd in her local return Feb. 12.

#2 Glass Ceiling (2-1) lost her last ten starts and hit the board in six of those races. She is stuck at this level and disappointed as the chalk in a similar course/distance spot Feb. 12. I like her chances underneath.

Playing the horses can be a rewarding but tough game. Exacta, trifectas, superfectas, Pick 4s, Pick 5s -- there are so many wagers to play, it can get overly confusing. How do you know how much to play or which wagers to try? Unfortunately, part of the learning process can include losing money. But we would like to help you shortcut that process by learning some of the most common mistakes that horseplayers make on a daily basis. Take a look at Horse Racing Nation’s newest eBook -- “Top 10 Mistakes Horseplayers Make” -- and see if it helps you avoid some common mistakes and win more playing the races.
