Thursday’s sixth race from Delaware Park is the $100,000 First State Dash Stakes for 2-year-olds dashing six furlongs on the main track. The scheduled post time is 3 p.m. EDT.

No. 1 Cold Feet (5-1) set a fast pace and ran away in his local maiden claiming debut July 27 and the clear runner-up won his next start. The Frosted colt might be the one to catch at a speed-friendly distance.

No. 5 Howgreatisnate (5-1) cruised from off the pace in his local bow and show finisher Swifty Devil returned to romp and is entered in this spot as well. The gelded son of Speightster should get pace to chase.

No. 6 Bandits Heart (5-2) showed improved early interest when wiring the field in the local Dover Stakes second time out. He should impact the pace.

No. 7 Riccio (9-5) ran well in all four starts, including a runner-up finish behind his stablemate in the aforementioned Dover Stakes. The versatile colt will probably stalk the pace from the outside post.

Wagers:

No. 1 to win

Exacta 1-5-6/7

Trifecta 1-5/1-5-6-7/1-5-6-7
