No. 3 Tricky Temper (3-1) ran her best race yet in a stalking victory as the favorite in the Key Cents on Nov. 18. She might work out a decent tactical trip at a hint of a price.
No. 6 My Mane Squeeze (5-2) added blinkers and easily graduated in her second career outing at Saratoga last summer. The runner-up was a next-out winner, and this filly landed the show in the Joseph Gimma in the slop at seven panels. She stalked and kicked away in the Maid of the Mist at one mile last time.
No. 7 Bernietakescharge (8-1) added blinkers and scored in a local state-bred optional-claiming sprint on Dec. 14. She projects a stalking trip while out in the clear.
No. 4 Cara’s Time (7-2) made the running in all five starts and was part of the exacta in four of those races. She went all the way in the Joseph Gimma and settled for the place in her last two stakes tries. The Not This Time filly meets other speed and might get a bit weary in the lane if the pace is hot.
