No. 4 Stoic Luna (2-1) ran last as a 78-1 outsider in a turf sprint stakes race at Santa Anita on Nov. 3. That race was too short for her. She rallied to win a local synthetic route earlier this year and should get pace to chase. The Golden Gate turf route stakes winner reconnects with her winning rider Evin Roman.

No. 5 Signorina Merisi (7-2) landed the place in her last two route starts at Golden Gate. She owns a trio of all-weather route wins and should be finishing in her third start after a layoff.

No. 8 Bold Daughter (15-1) frequently finishes in the top three at this oval. The late-running mare scored from off the pace at one mile on Nov. 26.

No. 7 Ladywearsthering (8-1) defeated Signorina Merisi by a half-length in a turf route on Oct. 28. Frank Alvarado rides her well and he has good stats when he teams up with Steven Specht. The daughter of Uncle Mo tries all-weather ground for the first time.
