No. 9 Stay Hot (3-1) stretched out and moved to turf after two dirt sprints, and he smartly earned his diploma in that flat-mile turf race. They took a shot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, and he stalked and weakened as a 17-1 outsider. Antonio Fresu strings along, and he could easily bounce back.

No. 7 Deadpan (6-1) set the pace and landed the show in his turf route bow at Colonial Downs. He shipped to Keeneland and stalked and graduated in a turf route on Oct. 28. He drilled a local turf bullet for this on Nov. 26 and should be in a nice tactical spot under Flavien Prat.

No. 4 Lord Bullingdon (5-2) got a nice setup and picked up his first career win from off the pace in the Golden Mile on the Breeders' Cup Friday undercard on Nov. 3. Umberto Rispoli got acquainted with him last time, and he should make his presence felt in the lane.

No. 2 Miracle Mark (5-1) switched to turf and wired the field at 7-1 odds in a flat-mile, special-weight affair at Santa Anita on Oct. 29. Phil D’Amato’s Constitution colt should attend the pace under Diego Herrera.
